Lansio CD Fernhill

Nos Wener, 30 Mai, Theatr Byd Bychan, Aberteifi, 7.30 – £10

Dathlwch lansiad albwm newydd, hir-ddisgwyliedig Fernhill, ‘Amser’. Mae’n cynnwys sawl gosodiad cerddorol newydd o farddoniaeth gan gynnwys darn hyfryd Thomas Hardy, ‘The Self Un-seeing’, tra bod geiriau y bardd o Gymru, Vernon Watkins, yn gwau drwy’r trac teitl ‘Amser’, sef gwrthdrawiad o draddodiadau gwerin y gaeaf megis y Fari Lwyd, canu Calennig a Hela’r Dryw Bach. Mae’r albwm, sy’n ddilyniant i ‘Canu Rhydd’ a dderbyniodd cryn ganmoliaeth, yn cynnwys llais Julie Murphy, Ceri Rhys Mathews ar y gitâr, Christine Cooper ar y ffidil a Tomos Williams ar y trwmped. Yn ogystal â theithio i gefnogi eu halbwm yn 2014, bydd Fernhill yn perfformio fel rhan o ddathliadau canmlwyddiant Dylan Thomas yn Abertawe, Talacharn, yr Ariannin a Phatagonia.
